A new position has become available for a Parts and Sourcing Coordinator to join our Internal Service department. You will provide best in class sourcing to the Internal Service department and will provide an effective service to the other departments in the company.
Main duties of the role are:
· Create or maintain standard operational procedures for Internal Service Department
· Use skill set and/or technical qualifications to identify best sourcing of all parts (new, used, reconditioned etc)
· Create and maintain an Internal Service standard parts listing and maintain stock accuracy on an ongoing basis (including consumable stock holding)
· Receive all parts into Kerridge (internal ERP system) in a timely manner and advise the relevant department personnel that parts are on hand
· Ensure that all parts are charged out correctly against the relevant account with correct quantities and discounts (if applicable)
· Monitor and track any cost savings made from reconditioned or second-hand parts utilisation
· Organise the documentation and collection/return of parts received
· Monitor and follow up back-order parts and advise any problems
To be effective in this role, you will have parts sourcing knowledge, have an Apprenticeship as a Parts Person or Vehicle Technician, and have a good overall knowledge of cars to understand the parts requirements. You will be computer literate, particularly in the MS Office suite and on internet search engines and be able to work using your own initiative and document department spend/savings. Kerridge experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pmand the salary is £30k per annum + bonus.
