We are now recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our operations department.
You will be responsible for helping to achieve the companies on time delivery, by ensuring that vehicles are manufactured correctly, cost effectively, and delivered on time, in accordance with customer build specification and quality requirements.
Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the salary is up to £45k DOE.

The main duties of the role are:
- Schedule Adherence – Manage daily Input & output targets ensuring correct alignment to S&OP and progression reports
- Control – Manage and regularly review production progress against deadline targets to ensure on time delivery
- Ensure that all production related work order activity is time and cost efficient/effective
- Quality Control - Manage production/quality processes, equipment being used, and the working environments to ensure they are conducive to producing a high-quality product/ service. Manage/analyse production activity to ensure that the appropriate manufacturing methods are employed, and that sufficient due care is taken in order to meet the customer’s build and quality specifications
- Staff Training & Development - Establish goals and objectives for team and implement accordingly to help support/improve job performance (experience, ability, competence). Develop and monitor performance standards. Identify individual and team training needs/gaps/strengths and ensure appropriate training is received. Implement, monitor, and review training and development plans
- Performance Management - Monitor, review, and address personnel under performance, maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures. Ensure all employees live by and embody the company values of respect, collaboration, courage, ambition and passion and challenge colleagues who fail to exhibit these core behaviors
- Discipline & Grievance - Address any staff discipline or grievance issue, maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures. Ensure when company triggers are met that attendance and timekeeping issues are dealt with accordingly.
- Promote, maintain, and introduce awareness and compliance of H&S in accordance with best practice and legal requirement
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Prior experience of achieving production output targets with quality and cost parameters
- Proven work history with people management responsibilities in an Engineering, Automotive or Manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
