We are now recruiting for an Adaptations Installer to join our Sales Mobility team.
You will install and repair of a wide range of vehicle adaptations for wheelchair accessible vehicles.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm and the salary is £32-36k per annum DOE.

The main duties of the role are:
- To install and repair of a wide range of vehicle adaptations for wheelchair accessible vehicles
- To advise customers or dealerships which adaptations would best suit their needs and also be suitable for the vehicle
- To demonstrate vehicle adaptations to customers at handovers and events
- To discuss with customers, problems with their vehicles as requested
- To ensure that the Company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers
- To operate all equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Complete vehicle installation report sheets and job cards to a high standard, at all times
- To drive vehicles in a safe, lawful manner, taking into account the weather and traffic conditions, reporting all faults with the vehicles you drive
To be effective in this role, you will:
- Knowledge of the Vehicle Adaptations market
- Experience of fitting adaptations for wheelchair accessible vehicles
- Excellent fault diagnosis skills
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
A Driving licence is essential for this role.
A modern apprenticeship in light vehicle maintenance and repair would be advantageous but is not essential. Previous Motability scheme experience would also be advantageous.
