Allied Vehicles is the UK market leader in the manufacture and supply of wheelchair accessible transport solutions. We are now recruiting for an Administrator to join our Operations team to cover a period of maternity leave. This will be a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will carry out those duties aligned to the smooth running of the Production administration department and provide full administration support to Production SME’s and management.
The main duties of the role are:
- Run daily efficiency reports and update spreadsheets, along with labour reconciliation
- Make up vehicle packs daily
- Complete production weekly KPI stats
- To ensure a consistently high level of customer care/satisfaction
- Ensure familiarisation with VCA COP
- Report on daily absence to management
- Raise PDI job cards and invoice these job cards
- Raise work orders/configure vehicles
- Carry out general administration duties to assist in the smooth running of the Production department
To be effective in this role, you will have knowledge of best administration practices, have experience working in a fast-moving environment and be able to work under pressure. You will have strong communication skills, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel packages and have excellent organisational skills. Previous experience working within the Manufacturing industry in an Administration role would be desirable but is not essential.
Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday 7am – 6pm and Thursday 7am – 5.30pm and the salary is circa £24,600 PA.
