The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated and organised Materials Handler to join our Pre-Production department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
As a Materials Handler, you'll be responsible for the movement, tracking, and availability of parts and materials throughout the pre-production process, helping to ensure our manufacturing operations run efficiently and effectively.
Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday, 7am – 6pm and Thursday 7am – 5.30pm, working just 4 days per week! The salary is £13.45 per hour + bonus.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Receive, check and process incoming parts and materials.
- Pick and prepare build kits in line with production schedules.
- Deliver kits and materials to workstations and operators.
- Issue parts accurately to work orders and internal customers.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience working in a Stores or Warehouse environment.
- Counterbalance Forklift License.
- Computer literacy skills, with an understanding of different Microsoft systems.
