Scotland largest Independent bodyshop are now recruiting for Panel Beaters / Panel repair technicians to join our successful team. Candidates will ideally hold a valid ATA or NVQ equivalent.
Hours of work are between Monday and Friday with flexible hours offered, salary is up to £80k OTE, dependent on experience.
Successful applicants will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to the manufacturers' repair methodology, utilising modern equipment and techniques. You will carry out a professional and efficient repair to all our customers vehicles.
The main duties of the role are:
- Applying the correct technique to repair all types of vehicle damage whilst following the manufacturers repair methodology.
- Strip all necessary parts to repair any related damage or replacing where necessary.
- Where necessary attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and further your development.
- Looking after all company tools, equipment and customers vehicles with due care and attention
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
- To be aware and adhere to all company and Health and Safety regulations
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- A recognised qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair.
- ATA – Senior Panel accreditation (preferable not essential)
- Previous experience working within a vehicle body repair role.
- A team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Working to the highest standard with a knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques
A Driving licence is essential for this role.
