Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for a Parts Person to join our busy parts trade centre in Glasgow.
You will ensure that the Parts department provides an effective service to the other departments in the company, and to retail customers.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm and the salary is £28k per annum + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:
- To order parts and accessories from external suppliers.
- Ensure that all parts are charged out correctly against relevant account with correct quantities and discounts.
- Organising the documentation and collection of return parts e.g. damaged, wrong, surplus, and warranty.
- To use skill set and technical qualifications to correctly deal with any telephone enquiries and process orders.
- Monitoring and following up back-order parts and advising the Parts Manager of any problems.
- Using the Peugeot online parts systems to correctly identify parts and prices, estimates, technical specifications, and any other technical data that may be required.
- Receipting parts onto computer.
- Complete returns notes for parts to be returned to suppliers.
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a parts department.
- A counterbalance forklift licence.
- Good computer literacy, comfortable using MS Office packages.
- Excellent customer service skills
Previous experience of working in the automotive industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
