We are now recruiting for a People Advisor to join our busy HR team.
You will support the HR department across all aspects of the HR function and provide support to employees and managers as required.
Hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm and the salary is up to £32,000 per annum DOE.

The main duties of the role are:
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers to deal with people issues
- Conducting investigations
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Effectively input and maintain the HRIS and other databases used within the department
- Promoting employee well-being and engagement through the design and delivery of initiatives and events
- Coaching people managers to be better equipped to effectively lead our people.
- Support in respect of business training requirements
- Create and issue letters, contracts, and addendums, ensuring changes impacting on pay are passed to payroll in a timely manner
- Assisting with payroll administration in a timely manner whilst ensuring accuracy in the data
- General HR administration and support
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation and its practical application.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
