We are now recruiting for a Powder Coater to join our Pre-Production team. You will apply powder coat material to specification and locations as per Engineering drawings.
Main duties of the role are:
· Complete and adhere to departmental induction instructions
· Carry out all work in accordance with relevant safe systems of work
· Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed
· Strive to complete all work in accordance with standard allowed times and report any delays to Supervisor
· Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation
· Complete a daily time sheet recording all requested information
To be effective in this role, you will have an understanding of powder coat methods and application techniques, have excellent attention to detail and be used to working to tight deadlines. Experience of operating powder coat equipment in a manufacturing environment that requires conformance to Health & Safety requirements would be essential.
Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday 7am – 6pm & Thursday 7am – 5.30pm. The salary is £11ph + bonus, with the potential to earn more by working through a grading structure.
