We are now recruiting for a Production Engineer to join our Operations Team. To create, plan and implement production continuous improvement in line with the production targets and functional roadmap.
The main duties of the role are:
- Develop and implement production continuous improvement plans
- Support delivery of production targets
- Implement process controls
- Ownership of SOP’s, tools and fixtures
- Manage and lead cross functional teams
- Lead all functions in the production process
- Train and install production methodology and approach
- Complete all Company documentation where necessary
- Follow all Health and Safety requirements and bring to management attention relevant matters
To be effective in this role, you will have Manufacturing Knowledge aligned to key principles of production engineering, continuous improvement and root cause corrective action. You will have proven experience in delivering continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment covering production, cost and delivery.
Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the salary is up to £42k per annum DOE.
