We are now recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our Pre-Production team.
You will audit, develop and improve the pre-production quality processes and performance in line with the business objectives and roadmap.
Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm, with no Friday working. The salary is up to £32k per annum DOE.

The main duties of the role are:
- Audit and implement quality improvement plans
- Develop and lead quality improvements across functions
- Train and install quality methodology and approach
- Present to all levels of the organisation
- Follow a defined process
- Complete all Company documentation where necessary
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain a positive work environment
- Follow all Health and Safety requirements and bring to management attention relevant matters
- Incoming goods inspection
- First off inspection on new Pre-Production components and assemblies
- Install and maintain audit programme
To be effective in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in quality within a manufacturing environment covering inspection, process and auditing.
- Quality knowledge aligned to key principles of prevention and root cause corrective action.
- Ability to fully understand Engineering piece part and assembly technical drawings
Previous experience of working in a fabrication workshop would be advantageous but is not essential.
