Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for a Security Guard to join our facilities department.
You will play a key role in ensuring the security of Allied Vehicles’ premises.
There are various shifts available, working an average of 16 hours per week over 2 days, from Monday-Sunday. This role will include holiday/absence cover so an element of flexibility would be required as the shifts may include day shift and night shift cover.
The salary is £12 per hour.

The main duties of the role are:
- On arrival at site, clock in and check that all equipment, keys, registers etc. required during the shift are available.
- Ensure Company premises are always secure.
- Comply with CCTV procedures, ensuring that alarms are acknowledged and as required in line with Company procedures.
- Report any accidents/incidents to police and your manager without delay and log in security handover book
- Do not permit any person onto the site without prior authority from management
- Do not allow any vehicles or items of company property to be taken from the site without prior authority from management
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a security role
- Excellent CCTV knowledge
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- An SIA CCTV Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
