Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join our Engineering department.
You will provide full administrative support services to the homologation engineering function, pertaining to the company’s WAV & Taxi conversion business.
Hours of work are Monday - Wednesday, flexible start time between 7am-8am and finish time between 5pm-6pm and Thursday, flexible start time between 7am-8am and finish time between 4.30pm-5.30pm and the salary is £25k per annum + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:
- Data entry into the MRP system:
- Stock table entries
- Assembly table entries
- Constructing and maintenance of ongoing Configurators/Bills of Materials (BOM) data in MRP systems
- Assisting the Engineering Change Control team, collating, issuing drawings & technical data internally and externally
- Compiling data & reporting stock levels/open order balances to Engineering Change Control team
- Creating & maintaining seating plan documents, requiring basic image manipulation skills
- Coordinating the rework of affected parts with internal and external suppliers, the booking in/out of inventory
- Raising, maintaining & closing development work orders for Engineers
- Sending out drawings/data packs to external suppliers, coordinating the timely responses
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Experience of, or qualification in, a technical discipline or an applied science (e.g. Automotive, aeronautical or electrical engineering, or Materials technology)
- Competent/ advanced use of MS Office suite and other common office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working with data in a STEM environment.
Previous experience of working with technical regulations & standards – especially automotive would be advantageous but is not essential.
