Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for Vehicle Assemblers to join our Operations team.
Working on a production line, you would be paired with an experienced VA who will assist you in your learning. Training will include – Observation of vehicle stage build, building with a VA, building with a VA observing and then building solo when signed off. Beyond training, you will be working on a stage (stage will be between 50min to 4hr depending on build) using supplied materials and tools.
Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the starting salary is £12 per hour + bonus, with the potential to earn more by working your way through a grading structure.

The main duties of the role are:
- Undertake manufacturing duties as specified by line manager – converting vehicles for wheelchair users
- Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and SOP’s
- Skilfully use a wide range of air and hand tools
- Follow a defined process without deviation
- Promote 5S and efficient manufacturing
- Complete all company documentation where necessary
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Previous manufacturing/production experience
- Experience of using hand/power tools
- The ability to work to defined processes and standards whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality
A Driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
