Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for Welder’s to join our Pre-Production department.
You will manufacture and or convert components by using general welding and fabrication tools and techniques.
Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the starting salary is £13 + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:
- Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed
- Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation
- Complete a daily time sheet recording all requested information in an accurate and legible manner and place in the designated area prior to close of business each day
- Take all reasonable precautions to ensure all work is carried out in a manner to avoid damage to vehicles, equipment and company property
- Carry out all work in accordance with relevant safe systems of work
- Complete and adhere to departmental induction instructions, complete minimum safety training documentation and practical assessments, as required by the company
To be effective in this role, you will have:
- Be a time served or qualified welder with M.I.G experience
- Have the ability to read weld detail on engineering drawings
- Be proficient in the use of measuring equipment
Previous experience of T.I.G welding with stainless steel and aluminium would be advantageous but is not essential.
